My Career e-Mellon (Online)
The e-mellon is a completed evolutionary Professional Orientation Test program, which includes 3 test categories and it has the great advantage that it can be made online. The e-mellon test is a modern, friendly and pleasant career program for all users, which was created and tested in a sample of 2.168 persons between 14-20 years old. Moreover, it has been presented in several conferences and it has been used from thousands of people with success.

Α. Abilities Tests
The Abilities Test e-mellon has the facility to measure the special innate abilities of the individual that are essential to perform all the basic functions in a specific professional career. This test can reveal the inclinations of the person, and distinguish the areas in which the person copes with greater ease and more effective.
The followed methodology comes from the American Institute for the Analysis of Personality and Skills (AIAPS), and it has been used successfully from thousands of persons in Greece and abroad.
The Abilities test is used to help people gain a better understanding of their capabilities and increase their self-awareness, to facilitate the planning of their career pathway and empower their decision making.
During the test, the user must answer nine groups of questions. The person has a certain amount of time to answer in each group, which is referred by the test instructions. The measuring skills are the following:
Observation and ability to recognize objects
Connectivity and Memorising
Speed and accuracy of perception
Abstractive Ability – Logical Thinking
Β. Personality Questionnaire
The specific advanced questionnaire is based on the typology of Carl Jung and the progress of the results follows the classical analysis of Holland. It consists of 60 pairs of questions, describing two contrasting situations – habits, of which people choose one of the two. If it does not express the content of either of the two questions, there is a third option – a question mark (?) – That indicates the intermediate situation. Average time is 30 minutes.
C. Interests Questionnaire
The interests’ questionnaire contains 90 sentences (statements) that describe accurate activities and tasks of various professions.
The person is asked to express sympathy or antipathy for each activity, choosing between five answers (according to the Likert scale) for each statement: 1) I Like it very much (5 points), 2) I Like it (4 points) 3) I am neutral / I do not know (3 points), 4) I do not like (2 points), 5) I do not like at all (1 point).
In addition, the person is asked to decide if he/she would like to deal with each of these activities as a full-time job, always on condition that it has the necessary knowledge, skills or training for such work. The total estimated time for completing the questionnaire is 20 minutes.
The creation of the questionnaire was based in a specific method, which is the accurate knowledge of each activity that is included in each profession, complex or not. The classification of all occupations has been made in 18 professional categories and 6 professional main guidelines, as originally defined by Holland typology.

Its construction was based on the typology of Holland and the two fundamental classification systems, widely known in the US to Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT), and the Guide for Occupational Exploration (GOE). This method of construction has ensured the questionnaire’s validity representative content as well as the validity of the conceptual construction for each profession category. This means that its content, along with the professional activities mentioned, is representative on the wider subject which is examined.
II.TEST ADMINISTRATION PHASES
A’ Phase: Administration of questionnaires via the PC
For the first phase, the persons will have to answer special questionnaires and tests that will fully investigate their personality, values and abilities. Each test has its own detailed instructions and these are given to the user in order to explain how to enter the digital platform.
The Individual tests can be given on different days, as they are independent from each other. Moreover, if during the filling of the test the user needs to stop, then it can let it off and continue later, as the system automatically saves the answers completed.
The duration of the test is as follows:
Personality Questionnaire: average 30 minutes
Interests Questionnaire: average 20 minutes
Abilities Test: average 1 hour and 30 minutes
